Prof. Dr. Andreas Spillner has been working in the field of software development and testing, in practice and research for almost 40 years. He retired in March 2017. His teaching area at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen was software technology with a focus on quality assurance and programming. Prof. Dr. Spillner is a Fellow of the “Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI)“, founding member of the “German Testing Board e.V.” and was the founder and spokesman of the special interest group “Test, Analysis and Verification of Software” of the GI. He is author or co-author of books (“Software Testing Foundations“, “Lean Testing für C++ – Programmers (only in German), …) and magazines. He has held numerous publications in journals and lectures at international and national conferences, as well as seminars.
